The Bulldogs broke a 1-1 tie in the fifth when Ryan Wolfsberg (single) scored on a Darren Hartwell double then Nick Conti singled in Hartwell to make it a 3-1 score. Conti had two hits and two rbi's, and Hartwell had two hits, two runs and a stolen base. Brian Pedrotti came on for a two inning save after the first batter he faced singled he then retired the next six batters in a row. Tommy McKenna knocked in the lone Lexington run with a sacrifice fly bringing in Joe Eramo whom had singled and advanced to third base.
