Bryan Mylette got in and out of trouble in four full iinnings on the mound to help the McKay Club turn its opening night win over Savin Hill. Kevin Vally tossed 2 complete innings & Kyle Power came o in the 9th. The Beacons responded to a 2-0 first inning deficit to score solo runs in the first 3 stanzas and 4 huge runs in the 4th. Trinity College new guys: Jim Wood (2 for 4 & 3RBI) & Alex Rokicki (2 for 3 - 2 titanic triples 1RBI) enjoyed their first YBL game. Drew Tambling clocked a blazing triple into the trees for for an RBI triple, but was cut down at HP. Savin Hill left 17 men on base...Ouch.
