Testosterone abounds as the Newton Giants defeat a weary bunch of gals as they score 2 in the bottom of the 9th after Mike Saavedra, famous from his picture in the weekend “Battle of the Sexes” Boston Herald article about the girls playing in our Men’s league, ties the game up and Boston intentionally walks Newton’s clean-up hitter Rob Goldfarb, only to have Dave Michael hit the game winning RBI. Once again Newton proves that men are better then girls as they beat the gals with only 8 players. Goldfarb relieves Dave Southiere with 4 inning , 5K, no hit appearence to get the win. So check the spelling of this one and once again “Boys Rule and Girls Drool!!!”
