Cary Atsalis recorded his first win of the year, while Brett Rudy drove in 3 runs, as the Brewers improved to 2-0 and won their first home game in Watertown. Atsalis also had a pair of doubles, driving in 2 runs of his own. The Giants threatened in 8th inning scoring a few runs to bring the score to 6-3, and even brought the tying run to the plate. Bret Urban entered in relief, and after after Jay Thomas threw out a would-be base stealer in a 1st and 3rd situation, struck out the next two batters to end the threat. Urban then closed the game by striking out 3 more in the 9th inning to close out the victory and record his first save of the season.
