Perlis goes the distance to improve his record to 3-0, tying for the league-lead in wins, and the Braves make it 6 in a row. Tiring in the 7th, Perlis let up 3 hits and 2 runs but was helped out by his D after a Raddabaugh single to center, the runner tried to make it from 1st to 3rd but was gunned down by Hudson on a perfect throw to end the game.
Cashman continues his hot streak at the dish collecting 2 more hits and an RBI. Despite feeling under the weather, Shaughnessy (1-2, HR, RBI, 2 R, 2 BB) starts to come around from his slow start with a monster shot to right for his second homer.
The Saints' Raddabaugh was perfect at the plate going 3-3 with a walk. Klaes had 2 hits and an RBI while Wojnar contributed 2 RBI. |
