The Tribe took an early lead and never looked back in defeating the Rockies 7-3. Nick Bondola led the way at the plate, going 2-3 with a home run, double, and 3 RBI's. Kevin Faria chipped in with a triple, single, and 2 RBI's of his own. On the hill Jason DeVeau kept the Rockies at bay with 5 and 1/3 innings of solid work. Daryl Pina picked up the save without allowing a hit or run while securing the final four outs of the ballgame. For the Rocks, Gary Moran had two hits including a two-run HR in the sixth.
