This one was a doozy. In another dull wood bat game that featured a little bit of everything, theIndians squeezed home the winning run in the bottom of the 9th to complete a comeback from a 5-1 defecit to the Somervillr Senators. The Sens stormed ahead early with key hits by Pete Nicolo and Steve Donovan and seemed to be cruising behind the strong pitching of said Dononvan. The Tribe hung around however in the August heat and, trailing by 4, rallied to within one in the 8th. With 1 out and the bases loaded, score Sens 5, CC 4, Sens 3rd baseman Ed English dove to his right and snared a hard grounder, tagged the bag and fired to second to snuff out the rally. The Tribe battled back again in the bottom of the 9th with a one out single by Jeff Dufresne and a triple by catcher Tony Campana to set up the walk off bunt by Rob Kocsmierski. Tom Manning went the distance for CC in a gutsy performance to pick up his 6th win of the season.
