Fred Shepard fired a complete game two-hitter as the Bombers continue to roll topping Lexington, 2-0 on Tuesday evening for their seventh straight win at East Boston Stadium. Pete John belted a pair of home runs for the game's only offense. John hit a ball in the left center alley to lead off the fourth inning for the game's first run and then connected again in the sixth for his third home run of the season on a ball to deep left. Steve Bodnar was the tough luck loser for Lexington. Bodnar only allowed oly three hits in the contest as he struck out 5 in the game.
