Mike DelPonte drove in two runs with a single in the fifth to give Medford a 5-0 lead on the way to the Americans sixth win. Starter Dan Walsh, 3-1, gave up two hits in six innings. He struck out four, walked eight and threw two wild pitches but kept Lexington off the scoreboard. Lexington's only run came in the seventh when pinch runner Curt Everett scored on an error.
