Zach Rubin pitched 6.1 strong innings to lead the Americans to a 4-2 win over the Watertown Reds. Ryan McNiff got the final two outs to record the save. Sam Shaughnessy and Mike Kalfopoulos led the American offense. Shaughnessy doubled twice, scored twice and drove in a run. Kalfopoulos had a pair of singles along with a walk and an RBI.
