Lexington won the second game in the tenth annual Jerie DeAngelis Day of Baseball 17-1 over Wakefield. Every Blue Sox starter scored at least one run and eight of them had at least one hit. Dan Hughes had four hits and three RBI. Ryan Duff and Ross Curley each scored three times. Steve Bodnar (1-0) was the beneficiary of the offense as he scattered five hits over six innings. He struck out five, walked two and gave up an earned run. Four Wakefield pitchers took the mound with Kevin Flight pitching the last two innings. He gave up one hit, no runs and two k's.
