Making his first appearance in a month, Scott Hampe (2-2) held a potent Stockyard lineup to six hits in going the route with seven strikeouts, thirteen groundball outs and no flyball outs. Tim Reinhardt doubled home two runs in the 4th following a Michael Stefaniak bunt to load the bases, and Hampe, assisted by his teammates' errorless ball in wet conditions, made it stand up. Devin Barry and Coley Lyons knocked in the Stockyard runs. Justin Flanagan stranded 10 Towne runners, but took the tough complete game loss.
