Eric Harvey helps put Tigers back in win column going 6 strong in win over Sox. The Sox would take the early 1-0 lead before the Tigers answered back with 4 runs in the bottom half of the inning on a BB, FC, Harvey RBI single and Gib-Vern double steal. A Coop SAC fly the next inning would be more than enough cushion for E. Harv (6 in., 0 ER, 4 H, 2 BB, 4 K) who pitched very effectively. The Tigers would add some insurance runs in the 6th, lead by RBI singles from Gib (3 RBI's, 2 SB) and Byrnie (2-3, 2 RBI's, R). The Sox threaten in the 7th, however it wouldn't be enough to overcome. For the Sox, Sam DelVecchio chipped in with 2 hits and Jon Letourneau pitched well going the distance. Byrnie, Stevens, and Field each had mutiple hits for the Tigers in the win.
