In a classic pitcher's duel, the Senators come out on top 2-1 knocking off the previously undefeated Cutters. The story of the day once again was Senator ace Mike Cook who held the Cutters to 4 hits while striking out 7. Cook also played his position well recording 4 assists. Offensively, the Senators struck first on a failed double-play attempt. The gritty Cutters made it interesting in the top of the 7th when Adam Del Rio (2-3) led off with a single, stole second and reached third on a balk. Sean Glavin then tied it up with a double to left. In the bottom of the 7th John Maryanski (2-3) led off with a double and reached third on a single by Bill Sinopoli.
