The Grays and Black Sox went toe to toe and Dave Hescock and Frank Nellenback both pitched gutsy games and came out even after seven...It took some good fortune and timely hitting to pull ahead but......... Capt. Dan Hamilos once again closes the door coming in and throwing a perfect game as he retires every batter he faced...no walks/no hits....11 up/11 down in an amazing performance as he secured the win for the Grays. George Laws should also be mentioned for his work with the field prior to this one. His efforts where commendable. It was hot, but a great day for base ball in the beautiful town of Winthrop. Classy guys and a classy game all around....
