Braves bounce back with 14 to 7 win On a crisp cool night at Breed field in Lynn the Braves were anxious to play the Lugnuts for the first time in 2009. Last year the Lugnuts had the upper hand over the Braves beating them in both regular season play and eliminating them from the playoffs in a two game sweep which included an overwhelming win in the first game. The Braves looked to right the wrong of last years playoffs and got off to a 3-0 lead in the first inning. The Lugnuts quickly bounced back in the bottom half of the first inning and a few innings later would score three more runs to put themselves ahead 6-3 over the Braves. The Braves did not panic or lose focus of the task ahead. There was plenty of game left to mount a comeback and that’s exactly what they did. From the fifth inning on the Braves played a tight defense behind the solid pitching of the games MVP Joe Leblanc, who pitched the complete seven inning game
