As was the case with last game, the Blue Sox started fast out of the gate with 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st on singles to right center by Ross Curley and Brian Lentz. Ben Hewett and Dan Graham were the runners who scored, who got on by a double and HBP, respectively. Meanwhile, Sox started Sam Steed (6 IP, 4 H, 11 K's) pitched a stellar game and got the win. The Sox scored the rest of their runs on a Lentz single, a Hewett double, and a Dan Hughes single. The Tanners made a late rally in the top of the 7th. Joe Smith scored a run on a Rob Palladino single to right. They proceeded to get the tying run to the plate, but Steve Bodnar shut the door and gave the Sox their 13th win of the season.
