Cassell got its 7th straight win behind the strong pitching of veteran right-hander Mike Parissi (Brandeis). Parissi ran his record to 3-0 on the season going the distance while only allowing 6 hits and 1 earned run. Cassell secured the victory when Jimmy Roche (Bentley) threw out a Watertown runner at the plate with two outs in the 7th. Cassell went ahead in the 6th when Josh Klimkiewicz (Harvard) doubled and was brought in on a 2 out RBI single from Dave Ahern (Babson). Ahern continued his hot hitting with 2 hits. James Likis (Brandeis) and Bobby McCarthy (Merrimack) each scored in the 3rd to give Cassell the early lead, and Tim Dempsey (UMass Lowell) made his return to the lineup with a pinch hit double. For Watertown Andrew LeBrun was the tough luck loser, pitching into the 6th inning. Luke Begley had 2 hits and scored a run and Matt McEvoy had a 2 RBI double in the 5th to tie the game.
