Cassell got home runs from Josh Mackey (Southern Maine) and Josh Klimkiewicz (Harvard) and went on to win behind the strong pitching of Nick Kelley (Endicott) and Mike Parissi (Brandeis). Kelley got his first start of his career for Cassell and struck out five over four innings. Veteran right-hander Parissi got the save, going the final three and striking out the side in the 7th. Bobby McCarthy (Merrimack) and Jimmy Roche (Bentley) both had two hits for Cassell. Mike Giordano had two hits and Dave Martin pitched three hitless innings for Watertown.
