In a close game Somerville doubled Waltham in the hit column, but Waltham doubled them in the run column, 4-2.
Mike Barthel goes 5 innings scattering 6 hits and was helped out by getting 3 double plays in the first 3 innings with Derek Luccini and Brian Spadafino slapping around some good leather in the middle of Waltham's infield. Jay Wisner goes 2 to record the save.
Bobby "Beetle" Lebrun was most of the the Sox offense with a 2-3 performance and 3 RBI's. He also recorded a SW (swollen jaw) when he tried to track and then catch a shot off Justin Crisafulli's bat with his left cheek.
