Mike Pagliarulo went 4-4 with two home runs, a double, a single, three runs scored and five RBI leading the Americans to a 13-4 victory over the East Boston Bombers Sunday at Playstead Park. Pagliarulo hit his two home runs in consecutive at bats and both were crushed deep to the opposite field. Steve Tahmoush also had a productive day at the plate going 2-4 with a three run home run, a triple and three RBI. Ryan McCarthy added a double and two RBI while Johnny Welch, released earlier in the day by the Brockton Rox, and Charlie Pagliarulo each singled to drive in a run. Steve Panza and Mike Burgoyne also hit safely for the Americans. John Wood picked up the win on the mound with relief help from Dan Nugent, who pitched two scoreless, one hit innings, and Zack Bunszell, who closed out the seventh.
