Brighton Braves 4, Savin Hill Hornets 1
James Greeley had a strong outing in his first start for the Braves going 6 innings allowing 1 ER on 4 hits, 1 BB and 6 SO. Powers-Patey came in to close things out in the 7th with a 1-2-3 inning to collect his 4th Save.
The Braves took advantage of some Hornet miscues early to score 3 runs in the first 3 innings, all unearned. They added the 4th in the 7th on a broken bat single by Cashman to plate Tracy from 3rd.
The Hornets scored in the 5th on a 2-out triple by Higgins followed by a single up the middle by Michel. Gordon Lescinskis took the hard luck loss for the Hornets allowing only 1 ER. |
