Another outstanding effort on the mound for Tom Levett, as he goes 7 innings and battles a tough Dodger line-up for his third win of the season. After giving up a lead-off triple in the third who eventually scored, Levett and the Rocks would allow no other runs on the night. The Rockies quiet bats woke up in the sixth as Greg Crossman battled Dodger starter Marty Whitmore fouling off several pitches, drawing a full count and finally earning a lead-off walk. Pinch runner Frank Ciampa entered the game and soon scored on a clutch two-out double by AJ Bucciarelli. Veteran backstop Dan Jalbert threw out 2 would-be base-stealers in the 7th to preserve the tie. In the eighth, Jalby did it with the stick as well, as he singled home the eventual game winner.
