Cambridge Spinner's ace R.Casey's slurve was down right nasty as he spun 12 strike outs and dazzled the mystified Hornet hitters. But Hornet pitcher Jay "Doctor" Sholl was operating on his own gem of a game throwing a shutout until the final frame. The Hornets stratgey of driving up the Mighty Casey's pitch count by wiffing paid off. Casey ran out of gas in the top of the 6th and the Hornet hitters promptly plated 7 runs to take a commading 10 - 0 lead into the final frames.
