The Mariners got out to an early lead, scoring one in the first and one in the fourth off of former teammate Alan Donaruma (CG, W, 6H, 2ER). The A's entered the bottom of the fifth being no-hit by Jarlin Gomez, but put together three hits and two walks in the frame to plate three runs and take a one-run lead. The M's got the tying run into scoring position in the bottom of the seventh but Donaruma got Steve Lemoges to fly out to right to end the game. Tim DeMarco had three hits for the M's.
