The Senators knock off the first place Indians in dramatic fashion. The Indians jumped out early scoring 2 on a wild throw in the first. The Senators would answer in the bottom frame with 3 on RBI singles by Matt Coyne, Nate Laliberte and a bases loaded walk by Dennis Ingram. The Senators would add another in the 2nd and the 5th on an RBI single by Ben Keffer and an RBI triple by Nate Laliberte. The die-hard Indians didn't quit adding 1 in the 6th and 2 in the 7th to tie it on a series of walks and precision hitting. Unfortunately, that wouldn't be enough as the Senators walk off with a win after a leadoff walk by Laliberte, 2 stolen bases and bloop single. Senator starter Matt Mothander pitched 5, allowing 1 earned run on 2 hits and struck out 9. Ben Keffer picked up the win in relief.
