Game one of this afternoon double dip belonged to the stros from the beginning when Mike Vernon walked in the leadoff spot and scored on James Clarahan's monster triple. Sasaki followed with a lined single to score Vernon. In the second Sasaki added a bases clearing double that screamed over the center fielders head. Eric Harvey fired six innings of one-run ball for the victory. Sean Kennedy cleaned up in the seventh. Ramos, who had dueled Harvey in the last meeting between these teams (a 3-2 stros win in the 10th) took the loss for the Grays.
