The Tigers keep the perfect season going with a strong victory over the A's. Feliciano (3-4,HR,3B,3R,4RBI), Pollard (1-4,HR,R,4RBI), and Giblin (2-3,2R,2RBI,SB) led the way offensively with Houlding (5IP,3H,1ER,6K) pitching well enough to win before Copson closed out the last two innings for the save. The Tigers jumped out to an early lead and kept tacking on runs with some timely hitting including Gib's 2-RBI single in the 2nd and JP and Sway's 3-R HR's in the 3rd and 4th respectively. Sampson launched a HR to left to put the A's on the board to start the 5th while Vetter and Lamoureux each had 2H. McGowan pitched valiantly thru 6 for the A's, but once again the Tiger bats were too strong and the Tiggers pulled away.
