Eric Harvey threw a complete game shutout to give the Astros their first opening day victory in recent memory. Harv struck out 14 Indians and did not allow a free pass. Later, Harvey (4'8" 110 lbs.) also dominated the beirut table at the 'stros season opening party. Mike Byrne hit a ball onto the road which was called foul and later drove in two runs with a lined shot to left off of Jason DeVeau who took the loss. The 'stros send free agent acquisition Anthony Leonelli to the hill Wednesday night to take on the Mariners. |
