The Astros rebounded to take game two of the double header today with one of their best efforts of the season. The win kept them in the thick of the race for a Bay State playoff spot. The Astros got to Matt Coyne early when James Clarahan sparked the offense with a RBI single in the first. Then Shu Sasaki raked a two run double and the 'stros never looked back. Tony Ricupero and Sean Dowling zoned in and combined for 6 hits, 4 runs and 3RBI. Sasaki added another RBI and Mike Byrne (sac fly) and Ron Viola (single) each plated one. Clarahan made a huge diving catch in right feld in the third and added another in left in the sixth to lead the stros D to an errorless game. Sean Cormac(k) Kennedy earned the victory with four innings of shutout ball. Tyler Walsh started and went the first two and Josh Vernon closed it out in the seventh.
