Bryan Healey improved to 6-0 on the year with a win at Haverhill Stadium. Healey struck up 9 and was supported by Kevin Bell (2-3, 3RBI,) Jay Thomas (2-3, 2RBI) and Jordan Krall (1-3, 3R, RBI.) Each of them, along with Ronnie Maddrey, also took one for the team, getting plunked once. The score was 6-2 heading into the bottom of the 7th when the Rangers mounted a spirited comeback, with the first five batters of the inning reached base. With three runs in, the Rangers had the tying and winning runs on base with nobody out. Healey then settled down to induce three consecutive fly ball outs and end the game.
