The Reds scored six runs in the top of the 7th to beat the Padres. Pitching for the Reds, in combination, were Mike Knell, Derek Garabedian, Carlos Mejia and Brett Nowlin. Nowlin closed out the bottom of the 7th with three strikeouts and a hit batsman. Chris Chase nearly hit for the cycle with a HR, triple and double and a bunch of RBIs.
