With the Hit Truck idling in the parking lot at Ryan Field, the Marlins came from behind three times before finally putting away the hot-hitting A's Tuesday night. The middle of the A's lineup including Greg Wright (2-3, 3R), former Marlin Josh Misiph (3-3, 3R), and Santi Mazzeo (2-3, 3R) couldn't make an out but the Marlins' suddenly clutch lineup had an answer for every rally. In the third, Mike Mori (1-3, 3R, 2RBI) and Paul Bracco (3-5, 3 RBI, 3SB) knocked in runs with two-out singles. In the fourth, Steve Mellor blasted his first career homer to left to tie the game at 6-6. Down 10-7, the Fish finally took the lead for good when Karl Cyr, Bracco, and Davin Wilfrid again delivered with two outs in a four run sixth to make it 11-10. Andy Herr then put the finishing touches on the victory by lining a 2-0 fastball to left for a grand slam. Neil Doherty earned his long overdue first win of the season with 3.2 IP of relief.
