Terry Belli, Nate Kenyon, and Matt Cronin ripped consecutive RBI singles in the bottom of the 5th inning to rally the 'Stros past the A's. Belli finished 2 for 2 with two runs and two stolen bases. Cronin had two RBIs, including the game winner, and threw out two of three A's base-runners. Bryan Fox pitched five innings for his second win of the season and Sean Kennedy pitched two scoreless innings for the save. For the A's, Mike O'Brien had a bases-clearing double in the 1st inning. Dave Burr and Jason Joyce were each 3 for 4.
