Justin Wetherby gave up only 4 hits as he pitched a complete game with 10 strike outs to pick up the first Mariners victory of the season. Justin got the run support he needed led by the bats of Darren Martineau, 2 for 4, and Brendan Power, 3 for 3. John Freni made his Mariners debut going 1 for 1 with a run scored last night. Justin also got some great defensive support from Jeff Rausch, Mark Balfe, and Darren Martineau. For the Reds Matt Bloomer went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs.
