Cannon jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on an ADSL throwing error. Dave Liffers settled in and held Cannon scoreless for the remainder of the game. Liffers had good command pitching a complete game striking out eight without issuing a walk. ADSL put together a two-out rally in the 3rd inning with four consecutive hits to take the 2-1 lead. The score remained the same until the 6th when Tom Kelly (2-4, 2B, 2 RBI) provided insurance with a deep double to left knocking in two runs.
