Pete Frates hit a lead off home run and had his second straight three-hit game. In the sixth Nick Martinho walked with the bases loaded to tie the game. Jim Hughes followed with a sacrifice fly to give Lexington a 3-2 lead. Sam Finn, 4-1, went five innings for the win. Mike O'Brien and Jesse Santos (save) closed out the game for Lexington. John Halsey drove in Reading's first run with a sacrifice fly. Mike Drinkwater took the loss for Reading.
